Cowhide

Rustic, hand made cowhide from one of our Derbyshire beef cattle. They are usually quite stiff rather than supple and make excellent floor coverings.

We have Hereford, Belted Galloway, Friesan and other breeds. 

Usually cowhides are made to order, although occasionally there will be one available ready-made. On order a £100 deposit will be required. The final prices depends on breed and particularly on hair length. For a short haired variety (such as the Hereford in the photos) the price will be £350.

To order, please get in contact first as we can discuss the availability of different breeds. Depending on the season, it takes around 6-8 weeks or longer to finish a cowskin.
